Just as we carefully pack your Canoe, Kayak, or SUP Board, we want you to be completely confident in your gear. If your item isn’t right for your next adventure, our straightforward return and exchange process is here to help.

Our policy is designed with the same practical care our team uses to select products for our GO BIG (Staff Picks) collection—clear, reliable, and focused on getting you back on the water.

⏱️ Return Window

You have 15 days from the date you receive your item to initiate a return or exchange.

✅ Condition Required

Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags and accessories included. Gear must show no signs of wear, water exposure, or installation.

📦 Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective product). We recommend using a trackable service.

💸 Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal).

Step-by-Step Return & Exchange Process

  1. Initiate Your Request: Within 15 days of delivery, email our team at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return/exchange. Use the template below to ensure we have all needed details.
  2. Receive Instructions: Our customer service team will respond within 1-2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed return shipping instructions.
  3. Pack and Ship: Securely pack the item in its original packaging, including all parts, manuals, and free gifts. Include the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box. Ship to our Toronto facility:

  4. Inspection & Processing: Once received, our gear specialists will inspect the item (typically within 3-5 business days). We will notify you via email once the inspection is complete.
  5. Resolution:
    • For Returns: Your refund will be processed immediately upon approval.
    • For Exchanges: We will ship the replacement item once the return is approved. If the desired item is out of stock, we will issue a refund or arrange an alternative.

Refund Timeline & Method

Your security and satisfaction are as important to us as the quality of our Dry Bags and Canoe Paddles.

  • Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 5 business days of our warehouse approving the return.
  • Bank/Card Processing: After we issue the refund, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution’s policies.
  • Original Payment Method: All refunds are issued to the original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal). We cannot refund to a different card or account.
  • Shipping Fees: The original $12.95 CAD standard shipping fee or the cost of expedited shipping is non-refundable. For orders that qualified for Free Shipping (EMS), a deduction may be applied to the refund to account for the initial shipping cost if the return is not due to our error.

Non-Returnable Items & Exceptions

To ensure the safety and integrity of specialized gear for our entire paddling community, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive defective or damaged:

🚫 Final Sale Items

  • Gaskets, Adhesives & Care Products: Due to hygiene and chemical safety reasons, all sealants, adhesives, and cleaning/care products are final sale.
  • Personalized or Custom-Ordered Items: Any product that has been customized, engraved, or specially ordered to your specifications.
  • Clearance or “As-Is” Items: Products marked as final sale, clearance, or sold in “as-is” condition at the time of purchase.
  • Opened Safety Equipment: Items where packaging has been opened or seals broken, compromising our ability to resell them safely.

Note: If a non-returnable item arrives defective, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos/videos, and we will resolve the issue promptly.

Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Item?

If your gear arrives damaged, is defective, or is not what you ordered, we will make it right—quickly and at no cost to you.

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected] with your order number and clear photos/video of the issue. We will arrange a prepaid return label, a replacement shipment, or a full refund, including any shipping costs.
